Micha\u0142 Kubica<br>\ud83d\udcbc Head of Department \u2013 Certification Center<br>\ud83d\udcbc Welding Center \u2013 \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 GIT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A graduate of the Department of Welding at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In 2001, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, and Transport at the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2000, he has been a representative of the Institute in the structures of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Federation for Welding (EWF). He serves as the Chief Executive of the Authorized Nominated Body (ANB) of IIW\/EWF for the Qualification and Certification of Welding Personnel, and as Scheme Manager of the Authorized Nominated Body for the Certification of Welding Production Facilities (ANBCC) of IIW\/EWF. He is a Lead Assessor for the International Institute of Welding and the European Federation for Welding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since January 1, 2018, he has been the Head of the Certification Center Department at the Institute.
