Lechos\u0142aw Tuz is an academic teacher, welding engineer, and materials engineer. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology in 2005, earning a degree from the Faculty of Production Engineering in Mechanics and Machine Construction with a specialization in Production Engineering. In 2012, he obtained a PhD in Technical Sciences in the field of Machine Construction and Operation with a specialization in Welding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2012, he has been working at the Faculty of Metals Engineering and Industrial Computer Science at AGH University in the field of Materials Engineering. He completed postgraduate studies for the International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification and underwent training at the Welding Institute in Gliwice to qualify as an International Welding Inspector (IWI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond teaching, collaborating with students, and promoting science, PhD Tuz focuses on conducting research in materials engineering and welding to address industrial needs, solve material-related problems, and determine the causes of failures. He specializes in materials engineering, structural cracking, weldability of construction materials, corrosion in various environments, and material selection with an emphasis on durability and operating conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His research interests include high-strength structural steels, heat-resistant and creep-resistant materials, nickel and aluminum alloys, as well as corrosion-resistant materials, including austenitic and duplex steels.
