Santina Topolska, Prof. SUT<\/strong><br>Silesian University of Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca5 Member of the MKES 2025 Competition Jury<br>\ud83d\udccb Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. hab. Eng. Santina Topolska, professor at the Silesian University of Technology, is a graduate of its Faculty of Chemistry. Her professional and academic career has been closely associated with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology. She worked at the Institute of Engineering and Biomedical Materials, earning her PhD in technical sciences in 2002 and habilitation in 2018. Following her habilitation, she transitioned to the Welding Department, aligning her research interests and scientific work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is a member of the Polish Electroplating and Corrosion Societies and has authored or co-authored over 160 scientific publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Topolska has supervised over 150 diploma theses and is currently mentoring four industrial PhD candidates. Her research interests prominently focus on corrosion protection, underscored by her FROSIO certification and involvement in training and courses on anti-corrosion systems, particularly in the context of the energy and offshore industries.
