W 1988 roku uzyska\u0142 tytu\u0142 technika mechanika o specjalno\u015bci spawalnictwo w Technikum Mechanicznym w Sanoku. Dr hab. in\u017c. Jacek G\u00f3rka, prof. P\u015a jest absolwentem Wydzia\u0142u Mechanicznego Technologicznego Katedry Spawalnictwa Politechniki \u015al\u0105skiej w Gliwicach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Od pocz\u0105tku kariery zawodowej i naukowej jest zwi\u0105zany z Katedr\u0105 Spawalnictwa, w kt\u00f3rej zosta\u0142 zatrudniony w 1993 roku. W 1999 roku uzyska\u0142 tytu\u0142 doktora nauk technicznych, a w 2014 roku tytu\u0142 doktora habilitowanego za przedstawienie rozprawy pod tytu\u0142em.: \u201eW\u0142asno\u015bci i struktura z\u0142\u0105czy spawanych stali obrabianej termomechanicznie o wysokiej granicy plastyczno\u015bci \u201d. W 1999 r uko\u0144czy\u0142 r\u00f3wnie\u017c Kurs Europejskiego In\u017cyniera Spawalnika EWE. Od 2012 roku jest kierownikiem studi\u00f3w podyplomowych: \u201eTechnologie spawalnicze i kontrola jako\u015bci\u201d, a od 2017 roku kierownikiem Katedry Spawalnictwa. Jest cz\u0142onkiem Polskiego Towarzystwa Spawalniczego, cz\u0142onkiem Polskiego Towarzystwa Materia\u0142oznawczego, cz\u0142onkiem Professional Association in Modern Manufacturing Technologies, Modtech Iasi-Romania, cz\u0142onkiem ECNMgroup Electric Carbon Nanomaterials, University of Cambridge, Wielka Brytania. Od 2017 do 2022 by\u0142&nbsp; cz\u0142onkiem Rady Naukowej Sie\u0107 Badawcza \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Instytut Spawalnictwa w Gliwicach. Jacek G\u00f3rka, Prof. SUT<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udca5 Chairman of the MKES 2025 Competition Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca5 Member of the MKES 2025 Organizing Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccb Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jacek G\u00f3rka was born in 1968 in Sanok. In 1988, he earned the title of mechanical technician specializing in welding at the Mechanical Technical School in Sanok. Prof. Jacek G\u00f3rka, graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, Department of Welding, at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the beginning of his professional and academic career, he has been associated with the Department of Welding, where he has been employed since 1993. In 1999, he obtained a Ph.D. in technical sciences, and in 2014, he earned the title of habilitated doctor after presenting his dissertation entitled: <em>\u201cProperties and Structure of Welded Joints of Thermomechanically Processed High-Strength Steels.\u201d<\/em> In 1999, he also completed the European Welding Engineer (EWE) course. Since 2012, he has served as the head of postgraduate studies in <em>\u201cWelding Technologies and Quality Control,\u201d<\/em> and since 2017, as the head of the Department of Welding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is a member of the Polish Welding Society, the Polish Materials Science Society, the Professional Association in Modern Manufacturing Technologies (Modtech Iasi-Romania), and ECNMgroup Electric Carbon Nanomaterials at the University of Cambridge, UK. From 2017 to 2022, he was a member of the Scientific Council of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Welding Institute in Gliwice.
