W 2018 roku otrzyma\u0142 Medal Stanis\u0142awa Olszewskiego przyznawany przez Sekcj\u0119 Spawalnicz\u0105 SIMP najwybitniejszym polskim i zagranicznym in\u017cynierom spawalnikom &#8220;w uznaniu ich wk\u0142adu w polskie spawalnictwo&#8221;. Za osi\u0105gni\u0119cia naukowe, dydaktyczne i organizacyjne by\u0142 wielokrotnie nagradzany przez Rektora Politechniki \u015al\u0105skiej oraz dwukrotnie odznaczany przez Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. W swojej dzia\u0142alno\u015bci naukowej zajmuje si\u0119 technologiami spawania, lutowania, ci\u0119cia termicznego oraz napawania i natryskiwania cieplnego, a tak\u017ce kontrol\u0105 jako\u015bci w produkcji spawalniczej. Obecnie pracuje na stanowiskach profesora uczelni w Politechnice \u015al\u0105skiej, a tak\u017ce nauczyciela w Zespole Szk\u00f3\u0142 w Czerwionce-Leszczynach kszta\u0142c\u0105c uczni\u00f3w w specjalno\u015bciach spawalniczych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DSc, PhD, Eng. Artur Czupry\u0144ski, Prof. SUT<\/strong><br>\ud83c\udf93 DSc, PhD, Eng. Artur Czupry\u0144ski, Prof. SUT<br>\ud83d\udccb Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Artur Czupry\u0144ski is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Welding Department. In 1997, he earned a Master\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the automation and robotics of welding processes. Since the beginning of his professional and academic career, he has been associated with the Welding Department, where he started working in 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. in technical sciences in 2003 and his habilitation in materials engineering in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has completed industrial internships at the Institute of Welding in Gliwice and the Warwick Manufacturing Group \u2013 University of Warwick (UK), as well as academic internships at the VSB Technical University of Ostrava, the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), \u00d3buda University (Hungary), and the University of Ruse (Bulgaria). He has also participated in numerous professional and teaching development courses, including the European Welding Engineer (EWE) program in 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is a long-time member of the Polish Welding Society, a member of the Program Council of the T\u00dcV Rheinland Polska Personnel Certification Body, and the Impartiality Committee of Bureau Veritas Certification Polska. Prof. Czupry\u0144ski is the author and co-author of four academic textbooks, editor of two international and six national monographs, over 200 articles, and two patents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018, he was awarded the Stanis\u0142aw Olszewski Medal by the Welding Section of SIMP, recognizing the most outstanding Polish and international welding engineers for their contributions to Polish welding. He has also been honored multiple times by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology for his scientific, educational, and organizational achievements and has received two national decorations from the President of the Republic of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Czupry\u0144ski\u2019s research focuses on welding, brazing, thermal cutting, cladding, thermal spraying, and quality control in welding production.
